Notes: The show was hosted by Ben Stiller. This was Samantha Maloney’s first live performance with the band to air on TV – a pre-taped appearance on Top of the Pops aired on BBC2 the next day. Courtney ended the song with a bit of R.E.M.’s Pretty Persuasion and the words “Sat Nam,” which means “I am truth” in the Sikh language Gurmukhi.
