It was a great show! The lights went out, the crowd screamed (well…all the girl hole fans screamed), and over the stereos began the intro to Credit in the straight world. Then the band came out and I was almost in tears because I love them! They began with Violet, the best song of all time in my opinion. Courtney was beautiful, in a long, ripped, pink gown with fairy wings and a wand. Of course, Melissa, being Canadian like me, had a canadian flag tube top on and really short white shorts. As the show went on, they played many songs from Celebrity Skin, with the exception of Pretty on the Inside (by the way, it was as awesome as it was 10 years ago) , Miss World, Doll Parts and Violet. At one point, a guy was throwing water bottles on the stage, and I guess one hit Courtney. She stopped the song, and said ” If you throw one more bottle on this stage, child, I will leave, ok. Or even better, I will come in there, and I will find you, and I’ll beat you up! And you’re probably a fuckin’ male wearing a Metallica t-shirt. ” The crowd cheered and she lifted up her dress and showed the world her beige undies. Later, near the end of the show, Courtney ordered the guard to put her on his shoulders and walk her through the crowd, picking lucky young ladies to go onstage and watch the set. She traded sweaters with one girl (who got to go backstage!!!) and let another girl sing Doll Parts with her! I was so jealous!!

I have to say that that was the BEST show i’ve been to EVER! They ended with a beautiful version of Northern Star and Celebrity Skin. She then gave one of her guitars to a male. “I’ve never given away my guitar to a male. You’re the first!”
