Walt Mink: a styrong performance by the openers got the crowd goin’ early. This show was sold out (1300) and their nice blend of pop, light psychadelia and punk brought the crowd into the evening at the outset. A rabid rendition of DEVO’S “Uncontrolable Urge” done at breakneck pace closed a most pleasing set.

Hole: Courtney seemed a bit off tonight. She was in a really bad mood, telling the audience to fuck themselves on more than one occasion. Their set was strong, with the band really opening up on some of the newer tunes. The performance culminated in Courtney’s destruction of a beautiful guitar to a hellacious bit o’ feedback.
