They also played the Til Tuesday song “Voices Carry” I fucking love that song, I think that is where Sam got the Idea for her hairdo, it’s like aimee mann in that til tuesday video.. at the end of the video she keeps screaming shutup at her boyfriedn in the opera. I tlaked to the guitar player after the show, (lisa l…something ) and she said the band that was onstage (her, court-obviusly-, sam and the bass player tht court kept calling divine or divina) was going to be THE band. Like the band that goes on tour. Courtney kept calling the band the Chelseas which was sam’s first band or something, and before the curtain opened courtney was singing by herself, the Bette Davis Eyes song. God I was right fucking there, sitting on the stage and she took my bands t-shirt that I threw up there (Ready For Vegas) and she was looking at it like WTF?!?!? but she made sure to grab it when she left the stage, and after wards when she was being mobbed, I gave her my c.d. and she all ” oh! that’s your band” and I said “yeah I play bass, and if you don’t care, at least give this c.d. to someone who does, you’re amazing” and then I kisssed her ( her lips were kind of sticky cuz she kissed all the other people who came up to her too–I don’t do hugs! sarah mclaughlin gives hug, I give kisses) BTW, no one has mentioned that she was flashing her boobies, we got a couple peeks. anyways, I t was fucking incredible amzing perfect , nothign went wrong for me yesterday, she signed my picture that I took of her when I was onstage in san diego with glitter flying all around, and my husband saw the rest of the and and got them to sign the pic and Sam signed it with a little arrow pointing to where she was onstage, but wasn’t in the picture. BTW how rad is SAM!! She is such a fucking kick ass drummer, with the fucking double bass and 2 floor toms, her kit was set up weird,i’ve never seen anyone with 2 floor toms on both sides. She kicks!
